This piece was inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia movies. It was made with soft pastels and pastel pencils for a drawing class and won third place in the 2017 - 2018  art fair at my high school. It's definitely one of my older works, but I still love how realistic it is. The soft pastels gave the piece a soft feel and were easy to blend into large areas of color, and the pencils worked wonderfully for adding detail.
