I love wings and the idea of swooping and diving through the skies. This Illustration started as some foreshortening practice in my sketchbook, but my imagination gave it wings. I scanned the initial sketch into photoshop so I could enlarge it and print a bigger version. I trace the print onto watercolor paper so I could paint it with gouache. This illustration tries to capture a moment of calm right before a dive in the middle of this girl's oceanic joy flight.
